Broadstone halt Distance from Weston: 5.25 miles

One of the WC&PR’s finest! Note the impressive station building! This halt was one mile from the village of Kingston Seymour, and opened in August 1918. In later timetables this was listed as a Request stop.

See detail map.

The WC&P Railway Group built a replica of this shelter shown in photo opposite in 2010 in approximately its original position. It has been on public display in various places: Oakham Treasures, Weston Museum, and the Folk Hall, Portishead.

It is currently not on public display, and we are looking for a suitable new home.
