Wanted:
Do you have any information about James Henry Sprod or his father Henry Sprod both of whom are believed to have been ‘car-men’ on the railway? James is said to be a guard who knew the timetables by heart.
It is likely that these two men worked on the railway in the early years.
If you have any information please contact us. Thanks.
